The husband and I went to the LA County Fair on Friday. It's the first time we've been in the 7 years we've lived here. I have to say I wasn't that impressed. They had some exhibits but mostly is was booths selling stuff, food stalls, and rides. The stuff for sale was the kind you could find at any flea market - not much in the way of arts and crafts. I was hoping for a lot of deep-fried food on a stick but there wasn't much of that either. We saw Snickers, cupcakes, smores, and chocolate dogs (which turned out to be Tootsie Rolls).
