We are holding a haiku contest and I have written several that are a bit too specific for the general public. But I must share one that describes my time in Phoenix thus far:
Welcome to Phoenix
Breath deep: dust and pollution
Sinus infection
We haven't gotten a lot of entries and some of them have to be disqualified for being over-syllabic (I know, not a word), including Topher's entry. We're supposed to pick a winner and give out the prize tomorrow but it's not happened yet. We don't even know what the prize will be...
Next is the limerick contest.
