I'm relieved the flag burning ban didn't pass because if it does I'm going to be forced to burn a flag in protest. I think it's just ludicris to try to criminalize flag burning when there are millions of people in the good ol' US of A doing things to the flag that are just plain wrong. Those tatty car flags that should be retired, flag decals, flag clothing, flags flying unlit at night or in the rain... all of those are the result of ignorance while burning is usually a statement of some sort, with some kind of intent behind it.
So if it comes up, I'll be there with my matches protesting the loss of freedom to protest.
